If you found this site I suspect it is either because you have been aimlessly wandering the web, or because there are so few fly fishers in the DC area with web pages that this one somehow wound up high in the search engine rankings. Either way, welcome to my fly fishing web site!
This site will track my fly fishing attempts in the Washington DC metro area, and anywhere else I wind up on the occasional trip. Why am I posting the locations of all my secret fishing spots for everyone to see? I’m not…these posts are all about widely published spots that can be found in books or elsewhere on the internet. If anyone wants to suggest any other spots for me to try out I will assume that it should not be posted unless it is already public knowledge.
For the most part my reviews will only include fly fishing spots that can be easily waded, as there is currently nowhere to park a canoe in my living room. I will generally focus on trout, but I will also be after bass and whatever else I can catch to keep myself outdoors in the hot summer months.

One last note, all of the maps that I have used, and the thumbnail images that link to them are provided by Google Maps. I also borrowed the images for my smiley face ratings from the website for the game Spore, I hope they don’t mind!
